What CARE International does in Fiji

CARE International's work in Fiji is mainly through national partners with similar goals of achieving victories over widespread poverty. One project is implemented through our strategic partner Live & Learn and focuses on responding to humanitarian needs caused by natural disasters, such as tropical cyclone Winston in February 2016.

Live & Learn has been working in Fiji since 1999, and CARE International has provided emergency response experts to support them with scaling up during crises.

With Live & Learn, we helped to ensure communities had access to clean water and sanitation immediately after the cyclone.
