CARE Statement on MSF Deaths in Afghanistan

Geneva (3 October 2015) - CARE extends its deepest sympathies to the family members and colleagues of those killed inside a Doctors Without Borders (MSF) hospital hit during air attacks in Kunduz, Afghanistan today. We have great respect for the work our MSF colleagues do in bringing life-saving heath care to poor and vulnerable Afghan communities. CARE calls on all parties to protect civilians caught in the conflict and the humanitarian workers who need safe access to administer aid.
